Barnes-Garner returns to the Black 'n' Gold

Chelmsford Chieftains are delighted to welcome back the 26 year-old forward to Riverside for the coming season. 

Hallds joined us from MK Lightning last season, fitting right in both in the room and on the ice so we’re very pleased he has stuck around. 

Cliff commented “It’s great for the team that Hallden has agreed to come back for another year.  Hallds is someone I obviously know very well, he was a huge part of our success last year, doing a bit of everything, 5 on 5, PK and PP and turning his hand to whatever the team needed. Hallds was part of a good line last year but I’ve also had him as part of a good line with Mikey before so there’s options there. Off the ice Hallds is a guy who keeps the room light, gets on well with all the boys and works hard every night for the team.”

Hallds said  “It was a no brainer coming back this year I really enjoyed last year we have a great bunch of lads and you fans are always loud and in great numbers showing support to the boys. I didn’t know what to expect coming in last year but it definitely exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to get going this year and after getting our hands on that playoff trophy I’m hungrier to win even more this year and I think we have a real chance at that. No fans deserve it more so we will give it our all and see what we can achieve! See you soon”
