Raynor returns!

The Chieftains Clan is being expanded for 2023/2024

Chieftains are delighted to announce the return of Kieran Raynor to the Black ’n’ Gold for the 2023/24 season. The 25 year-old Glasgow born utility player signed in 2021 from Peterborough, and has been a key member of the squad ever since. Another award winner from last season, lifting the trophy for the “Fight of the Year’. Demonstrating the physical side of his game that we know you all love.

New coach Lewis Clifford said “In my limited experience of watching the team play, Kieran comes across to me as a guy who will do anything for the team, and as a coach you can never have too many of those guys. He works at his maximum capacity every shift, plays a physical game and comes across as a versatile guy who will do whatever I ask of him to the best of his ability. I know Kieran is already a fans favourite and I’m sure he can build on that reputation in the coming season”.

Kieran commented “Since joining the Chieftains, I have felt really welcomed and really enjoy playing for you guys. I’m really glad to be back for the coming season and looking forward to getting back in September’.

Kieran is already fully sponsored for the season, thank you to those who had already held his shirts!.
