Player Biography

Hi, my name is Jay.

I play as a defenceman for the Chieftains.

I first played ice hockey in 2011, playing for Murrayfield Under 18's. I made my senior debut for Edinburgh Capitals in the Elite League in 2012-13, the first of over 200 appearances for the Caps.

In 2018 I moved south of the border to Basingstoke, joining the Bison where I have iced for the past five seasons.

Signing back in Chelmsford was an incredibly easy decision for me to make. I really enjoyed my time last season and instantly felt welcomed into the team by not only the boys, but the fans and everyone behind the scenes. There is a real sense of family and passion at Chelmsford and that’s something I love and made the playoffs win that bit more special. I can’t wait to get back with the boys and push for more than one trophy this coming season. 

So far this season, my goal tally is 1.
