Welcome back Eden!
Young defenceman returns for the 24/25 season
Chelmsford Chieftains are delighted to announce the return of defenceman Eden Rolfe to the Black ’n’ Gold.
17 year-old Eden who has come through Chelmsford’s excellent academy, will also continue on the roster for both the Under 18s Mohawks and the Warriors. So lack of ice time definitely won’t be an issue as he progresses in his very promising ice hockey career.
Coach Lewis Clifford commented “It was a pleasure to have Eden with us last year and I’m looking forward to continuing that this season. Eden was a lad recommended to me by the junior club and as soon as he turned up for practice I could see he had the right attitude to work and learning. Eden is still a very young man with plenty to learn but I know he has the right approach to hockey that he can continue to develop throughout the upcoming seasons, he is a versatile player who will play anywhere he is asked and that’s never a bad thing when he will grasp any opportunity thrown at him.”
When asked about returning to the Chieftains this season Eden stated “As most of you know last season was my first senior season for Chelmsford and what a season it was, winning playoffs and a great experience while developing as a player. Last season I learned a lot from Cliff and my experienced teammates and I really enjoyed playing in the Black ’n’ Gold. I am very excited to be coming back to play for the Chiefs in the coming season”.
Welcome back Eden we look forward to seeing you when the season begins…
